Below is the distorted vision of an in-between state when leaving our home behind. It is the latent desire to touch, understand, and resolve. In this series, I photograph the city where I live from beneath the water, a perspective that separates me from what I see and traverse. It is the dislocated vision of one who is there but still cannot grasp things.

This is the first part of the work titled Way Home.
